Short answer
A production-ready AI app is software you would let strangers create accounts on: tenant-safe data, server-only secrets, a deploy you can roll back, observed errors, and payments that match entitlements.
How it was written — Cursor, Lovable, Claude — is irrelevant. “The UI looks done” is a prototype, not production.
This is not SOC 2 or enterprise-ready. Those are later bars.
