Fixed Price MVP: What's Included vs a Custom Quote
Stripe and login are included, Fixed at $3,460. AI, marketplaces, compliance and admin dashboards get a custom quote. See where your feature list lands.
Table of Contents
The BuildMVPFast MVP package is Fixed at $3,460 and includes "Stripe / payment integration" and "User authentication & onboarding". It also includes "iOS, Android & responsive web" and "Database & API setup". "Marketplaces, AI features, HIPAA/fintech compliance, admin dashboards, multi-tenant SaaS" get a custom quote. Other integrations, like SMS codes or a CRM, depend on how much of them your first version needs. This page helps you sort your feature list into two columns before you talk to anyone. Column one is the standard package. Column two is the custom quote. Either way you get a fixed number before any code is written. Have a feature list ready? Book a call. In 30 minutes we'll tell you which column each item belongs in.

What "fixed price" means at BuildMVPFast
A fixed price means you know the number before the build starts. We agree the scope, write it down, and give you a fixed quote. The price doesn't move during the build. That applies to custom quotes too. A custom quote is not an open budget. It's still a fixed price. It's just built around a scope that the standard package doesn't cover. So the question isn't "fixed or not". It's "standard package or custom quote".
What the standard package includes
In practice, most first versions look like this: users sign up, go through onboarding, use one core feature, and pay through Stripe. If your app fits that shape, it most likely fits the package. Here is the list from our MVP Development page, word for word:
- Core product features scoped for v1 launch
- iOS, Android & responsive web
- Modern stack (Next.js, React Native, Supabase, etc.)
- User authentication & onboarding
- Stripe / payment integration
- Database & API setup
- Mobile-first UI design
- App Store & Google Play submission support
- Full code ownership transferred to you
- Post-launch handoff documentation
- 2 weeks of post-launch bug-fix support
What triggers a custom quote
Five types of project get a custom quote. Each one adds a whole layer of work, not just one more screen.
Marketplaces
Two types of users, buyers and sellers, each with their own flows. Money moves between strangers, so payouts, refunds and disputes need real logic. A simple checkout becomes a payments system.
AI features
Calling an AI model is the easy part. The work is around it: prompts that give answers you can ship, limits per user so one person can't run up your bill, and handling of slow or failed responses. The scope also changes a lot from one idea to the next. If you already have an AI prototype from a no-code builder, see our AI prototype to production service.
HIPAA/fintech compliance
Health data and financial data come with rules on storage, access and audit trails. Those rules shape the architecture from day one, so we scope them separately.
Admin dashboards
A screen where your team manages users, content or orders is a second product. It has its own roles, tables, filters and actions. Many founders can start with a database view or a spreadsheet export instead.
Multi-tenant SaaS
When several companies share the app and each one must only see its own data, every query and permission has to respect that separation. It's more work to build and more work to test.
Integrations: standard package or custom quote
This is the list to check your features against.
- Stripe checkout, one-time payment or subscription: standard package ("Stripe / payment integration").
- Sign-up, login and onboarding: standard package ("User authentication & onboarding").
- Database and API for your core feature: standard package ("Database & API setup").
- App Store and Google Play submission: standard package ("App Store & Google Play submission support").
- Payouts between users (marketplace): custom quote.
- AI features, for example text generation or chat: custom quote.
- Health or financial data under HIPAA/fintech rules: custom quote.
- Admin dashboard for your team: custom quote.
- Several client companies in one app (multi-tenant): custom quote.
- SMS codes or alerts, for example with Twilio: depends on scope.
- Sending signups to a CRM, for example HubSpot: depends on scope.

SMS and CRM tools: how we decide
For SMS and CRM tools, it depends on what you need. We look at how many flows you need, whether data goes one way or both ways, and whether your team needs a screen to manage it. We confirm it on the call, item by item, before you get the quote. Want the build and running costs of each API? Our feature costs guides break them down one integration at a time. Not sure where your list lands? Book a call and bring the list. You'll know which items are standard before you commit to anything.
How to keep your integrations inside a fixed price
To get a feel for which features weigh the most, try the app feature cost estimator. For the bigger picture on budgets, read MVP development cost in 2026. Five rules keep your integrations inside a fixed price:
- 1. List every integration before the quote. A provider added mid-build is the most common way scope grows.
- 2. One job per integration. Write it as one sentence: "Stripe charges a monthly subscription." If you need two sentences, it's two jobs.
- 3. Use hosted pages. Stripe's hosted checkout and customer portal replace screens you would otherwise pay to build.
- 4. Replace with a manual step. A daily CSV export can stand in for a CRM sync until you have customers.
- 5. Set usage caps from day one. Rate limits on paid APIs protect your running cost.
What you get in both cases
Because you own the code, anything you leave out of v1 can be added later by us or by any developer. Waiting also lets you see real usage before you pay for a bigger feature. You can see apps we've already shipped on our projects page. Standard package or custom quote, the terms don't change:
- A fixed quote before we start.
- Progress shown every week.
- Design included.
- The code belongs 100% to you, on your GitHub.
- 2 weeks of fixes after launch.
Sort your feature list
Ready to sort your feature list? Book a call. In 30 minutes you'll know what fits the fixed price and what a custom quote would cover.
Is Stripe included in the BuildMVPFast price?
Yes. "Stripe / payment integration" is part of the MVP package, Fixed at $3,460. That covers checkout for one-time payments or subscriptions. Payouts between users, as in a marketplace, get a custom quote.
What exactly gets a custom quote?
"Marketplaces, AI features, HIPAA/fintech compliance, admin dashboards, multi-tenant SaaS". Each one adds a full layer of work: more user types, more rules or a second product for your team.
Is a custom quote still a fixed price?
Yes. We write down the exact flows, agree the number with you, then build. The price is set before the build starts.
Are Twilio or HubSpot included?
It depends on scope. One small flow is very different from two-way sync or a team dashboard. We look at your exact use on the call and tell you which column it belongs in before you get the quote.
Can I start with the standard package and add the rest later?
Yes. Many founders ship the core with Stripe and login first, then add AI or an admin dashboard once users show what they need. You own 100% of the code on your GitHub, so nothing blocks the next step.
