Frequently asked questions
Do I need all three apps on day one?
For an MVP: customer app + basic restaurant portal. Driver dispatch can be manual at first (WhatsApp the driver). Automate dispatch once you've validated the core loop with real orders — typically after 50–100 orders.
How does real-time driver tracking work?
The driver app sends GPS coordinates every 5 seconds via Supabase Realtime. The customer app subscribes to their order's driver location and updates the map in real-time. No polling, no delays.
Do you build the dispatch algorithm?
For MVP, we implement manual dispatch (restaurant assigns driver) and basic auto-dispatch (nearest available driver gets the order). Complex dynamic pricing and ML dispatch is a v2 feature.
